What a Scam

Well the “rest of the week off” thing turned out to be….well….not true.  Everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off today.
It looks like the atgunpit1 is going to need a little more work.  It amazes me how a “dress up” of an existing art asset can turn into a complete redesign over night.  I’m not complaining too much, at least I still have a job in these tough times.

On a personal note, I got my PC back up and running with Windows 7, my new Wacom tablet, and the UDK.  I’m am now ready to dive right in after next Weds.  The Wacom was giving me fits with it’s darn zoom bar.  I was constantly dragging my arm across it and causing the current document/psd to wig out.  I finally disabled it and things are rosie again.

Sorry to hear you didn’t get your extra days off. I know how that feels.

Anyway, I hope the playbase appreciates your extra efforts.

Enjoy the time you do get off. And post the odd pics of anything cool you end up designing, as we are always intrested in what you do.

    !S MW.

The 1.31 pics where players can place clones is a marketing tool that shows that’s it’s time for some new animation emotes and poses are needed (and the infantry need to be redone, little things like having 2d shoulder straps stand out when the rest of the game looks pretty good now) so I hope it gives you more arguments to redo the infantry and other bodies (like the tank and AT gunners).

Some of the shots of the new spitfires for example over the new Antwerp in formation or diving on to some 111’s looks really really good, they make good recruiting posters. Though I’m surprised not have seen any lolcat ones yet.
