The French Brandt, not textured, but rigged and ready to animate. I left off the cable that stabilizes the bipod and I assume, helps set elevation. That thing would be a nightmare to rig. Not impossible, but difficult. I don’t have a lot of time to meet this schedule.

The current thinking is that the mortar was *always* set up with the tube at 45 degree fixed elevation, and the gunner/mortarman must have carried a combination spirit-buble level and 45 degree triangle in his pocket to allow him to put the leg-brace cable (may have been a wire on the historical mortars) in the setup slot that would result in that angle.
